My Broken Arm

My Hospital Visit 

On the 2^nd of April 2009 my Mum and my little brother drove to Starship Hospital.  I had to get my arm x-rayed, my elbow straightened up and my wrist straightened up a little bit.

The doctor cut off the fluff that was hanging out of my fingers.

I saw Jayden, from our class,  getting his new plaster on at the hospital.  Jayden got the same colour as me, a glow-in-the-dark one.  Then we got back in the car and went back home.

It was an exciting day.

The Museum Trip

THE MUSEUM TRIP

Last Monday the Seniors went to the Museum on a bendy bus.  Room 8 was excited to be going.  When we got there we had morning tea and got put into groups with the parents.  First we went to see the Volcano area and then the Volcano House.  It was a bit scary when the room shook Room 8 went to see the big boat next that the Maori people used.  The boat is called a “Waka..”  We saw  lots of amazing things at the Museum.

We had lunch outside after that and went for a walk to the duck pond.

 The Seniors went to the Museum to look at ancient things.  Next we went to see a mummy wrapped up in bandages and we saw some old pots there.
